I had an excellent experience with Professor Ali Noorani.
From the moment I got in touch with him regarding the massive pain in my right shoulder , he was incredibly efficient, and kind. On the very same day I reached out, he provided support and guidance, which was such a relief during a painful and worrying time.

Throughout the entire 6-week period, Professor Noorani and his PA Laura were consistently responsive, always available to answer my questions and check in on my progress. The follow-up care has been exceptional and truly reassuring.

I’d also like to give special thanks to Dr. Qaiser Malik and his assistant Nilla who carried out the barbotage procedure for calcific tendinitis shoulder. They were both very kind, compassionate, and professional, especially when I was in a lot of pain. Their care made the experience much easier to manage.

I’m so grateful for the support, kindness, and expertise of Professor Noorani and his team. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of expert orthopedic care.

Ali and his team have rebuilt me countless times, hoping 3 is a charm.
Ali has repaired my biceps twice, right hand side - both upper slap repair and lower tendon. His team are very assuring and professional and his PA Jas is always on hand to help. The physio are excellent and the facilities are brilliant. There is simply no need to look elsewhere.

I can't thank enough to Prof Ali Noorani for his brilliant surgeries on both my shoulders and also for his very professional and friendly approach.

I was rather unlucky that, as a consequence of being hit by careless skier, I developed a problem with both of my shoulders. Fortunately, I got into hands of highly professional and extraordinary skilful surgeon, Prof Noorani. A conservative treatment was first tried but once became obvious that such treatment is not improving symptoms, the decision was taken to operate on my left, at that time worse, shoulder. Since after surgery I fully relied on the right arm only, my right shoulder was getting worse despite a conservative treatment. Thus, just four months after the first surgery, I ended up having a surgery on the right shoulder as well. Both complex surgeries (involving arthroscopic complex repair of rotator cuff together with subpectoral biceps tenodesis) went very well thanks to exceptional expertise of Prof Noorani. I was also impressed by his detailed and very clear explanation of each step of the surgeries. The post operative care was exceptional. At each follow up consultation, he carefully checked my healing and recovery progress, and always clearly suggested the next steps for my physiotherapist to follow. Thanks to his extraordinary care, I was recovering very well. And just 6.5 months after the right and 10.5 months after the left shoulder surgeries, I was able to return to my favourite climbing activities. Already at my first climb I managed a challenging route with some vertical rocky walls to climb. And I'm over the moon how well my shoulders are doing. Many, many thanks for that, Prof Noorani.

I went to see Prof Ali Noorani for complications from a childhood elbow fracture having had little success in Ireland. From the first consultation, his exceptional bedside manner was evident and reassured me I had options for treatment, followed by a very thorough diagnosis. After various scans, we decided to go ahead with surgery and the results have far exceeded my expectations. My experience throughout the process has been excellent and I highly recommend Prof Noorani to anyone with upper limb concerns.

I consulted with Mr Noorani 1.5 weeks after rupturing the sternal head of my pec. He was fantastic — answered every question I had and quickly put my concerns at ease. He and his team moved fast to arrange MRIs and set up the surgical pathway to ensure I could be treated within the optimal 2–3 week window.

Due to a scheduling conflict (on my end), Mr Noorani referred me to his trusted colleague, Mr Al-Hakim, who did a tremendous job with the surgery. I was operated on within 1.5 weeks of first speaking with Mr Noorani (3 weeks post-injury), and I’m incredibly grateful for his help and guidance.

I can’t recommend him and his team highly enough.

Professor Ali Noorani: Exceptional Expertise and Compassionate Care

After a frustrating journey through the healthcare system, being dismissed by multiple specialists and left with serious concerns about whether I would ever regain proper use of my right arm or stand upright again, finding Professor Ali Noorani was nothing short of life-changing.

Professor Noorani came highly recommended through one of his colleagues, and from our first consultation, it became clear why. Unlike previous specialists who seemed unable to identify the root cause of my condition, Professor Noorani approached my case with remarkable methodical precision and attention to detail. His systematic and logical approach to diagnosis stood in stark contrast to my previous experiences.

What immediately sets Professor Noorani apart is his commitment to gathering comprehensive information before making any decisions. He meticulously reviewed all available imaging and reports, sought unbiased opinions through his multidisciplinary team, and ensured no potential factors were overlooked. This thoroughness revealed crucial details that others had missed or dismissed.

Professor Noorani's clinical expertise is extraordinary. During my examination, he quickly identified issues with my rotator cuff and scapular movement that correlated perfectly with my symptoms. His ability to connect clinical findings with imaging results demonstrated his exceptional diagnostic skill. Rather than rushing to conclusions, he carefully built a complete picture of my condition, consulting with colleagues to confirm his findings.

Beyond his technical expertise, Professor Noorani's compassionate approach to patient care is remarkable. He took the time to clearly explain his findings, the rationale behind his recommendations, and set realistic expectations for recovery. Understanding the difficulty of my journey, he ensured I was fully informed and comfortable with each step of the treatment plan.

What truly distinguishes Professor Noorani is his exceptional surgical acumen and holistic approach to care. He recognized that successful treatment extends beyond surgery alone, emphasizing the importance of proper rehabilitation and consistent physiotherapy. This comprehensive strategy demonstrated his commitment not just to addressing immediate symptoms, but to ensuring long-term recovery and quality of life.

Thanks to Professor Noorani's intervention, what once seemed impossible has become reality. His surgical skill, combined with his thoughtful rehabilitation plan, has given me the hope of regaining function I feared was permanently lost. The improvement in my condition has been transformative, both physically and emotionally.

In a medical landscape where truly exceptional care can be difficult to find, Professor Ali Noorani stands as a beacon of excellence. His combination of surgical brilliance, diagnostic precision, and genuine compassion makes him truly deserving of the highest recommendation.

I had an excellent experience with Prof. Ali Noorani and his team! I was dealing with several issues, including pain and discomfort,
and my physiotherapist, Luis Riberio, recommended that I see Prof. Noorani. From start to finish, I was incredibly well looked after.

The collaboration between Prof. Noorani, my physiotherapist, and the rehab team was outstanding. Thanks to their expertise and coordinated approach, I was able to return to work six weeks earlier than the date initially recommended by other consultants. My mobility and comfort have significantly improved, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

A huge thank you to Prof. Noorani and the entire team for their exceptional care and support throughout this journey!

I had a great experience this morning with Professor Noorani and the team at HSSH for some shoulder pain. I was seen very quickly recommended to have relevant tests and then received treatment from Dr Malek which are hardly felt. I am very impressed with the slick and personalised service and the expertise of the team. Thank you
