BIO

Dr Christopher Barringer is a specialist in interventional pain medicine and he is proficient in ultrasound and fluoroscopic (x-ray) guided pain interventions including radiofrequency ablation, cooled radiofrequency and pulsed radiofrequency.  Dr Barringer has extensive experience in treating refractory pain of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, spinal, neuropathic and abdomino-pelvic origin. He has a special interest in neuromodulation including spinal cord stimulation and restorative multifidus stimulation (Reactiv8).

Dr Barringer trained in the Barts and the London Anaesthetic rotation as part of the London Anaesthetic Academy and completed Advanced Pain training at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, UCLH.

His NHS base is at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery Queens Square, University College London Hospitals (UCLH) NHS Foundation Trust, where he is the consultant lead and faculty tutor for pain medicine.
