Practising privileges at OS Clinic

OS Clinic is a majority clinician-owned business. It was created by a group of world-leading surgeons to offer orthopaedic and oral maxillofacial services to private patients in and around London.

It’s primary and continuing focus is on the delivery of innovative and exceptional patient care. We have steadily grown so that, by the beginning of 2025, OS had 31 specialists operating within our practice.

We work as an integrated team, with cross referrals and MDTs in place to promote better patient outcomes.

What are practising privileges?

Practicing privileges are a well-established system of checks and agreements to enable doctors to practise with organisations without being directly employed by them.

We have practising privileges in place for all consultants working at OS Clinic. We work flexibly with each of them to support and develop their private practice and promote their expertise.

A full practicing privileges process including information about your qualifications, clinical skills, experience, and range of expertise would be completed prior to joining. We’ll also carry out the usual due diligence/background checks on your qualifications, insurance, registration etc.

We have a formal process to review all applications for practising privileges. Please note that to be eligible to apply for practising privileges with OS Clinic, you must have permanent residency in England.
