Private medical insurance could cover some, or all, of your treatment costs with OS Clinic consultants.
Most of our consultants at the OS Clinic are approved by the major medical insurers. So, if you have private medical insurance – via your employer or a personal plan – it’s quick and easy to make a claim.
Who’s covered?
Many businesses offer employees private healthcare insurance as part of their remuneration package. Sometimes, this insurance may extend to partners and immediate family members. If you’re not sure, check with your HR department.
If you’re not covered by private healthcare insurance, you could opt to self-pay.
What’s covered?
In many cases, your private healthcare insurance will cover everything you need – from your first consultation to any follow-up appointments and rehabilitation. This may include diagnostic testing, treatments, surgery, and physiotherapy.
Always check your policy details with your medical insurance provider before your first appointment because not all policies provide the same cover.
Step 1: Your insurance company may ask for a referral letter from your GP before your first appointment. In some cases, you might be able to self-refer without seeing a GP first
Step 2: If your insurance company is happy for you to go ahead, they’ll give you a code. This authorises payment for your care with OS Clinic. They’ll also tell you about any issues that may affect your cover so that you can book your first appointment with confidence
Step 3: Just call us to book your appointment. We will need your insurance authorisation code before you attend your appointment
