Andrew’s Injury Background:

Andrew, a very active 63 years old, tore his right meniscus after a sports accident, 10 years back. Over the years, he developed significant pain and soreness, hindering his day-to-day activities. He wore a knee brace when walking and had shooting pain in his leg. He was barely able to participate in any sports activities which he had previously enjoyed, like golf, and had to completely give up his passion for skiing.

Andrew sought medical advice and was told he needed total knee replacement. In 2020, he came to Prof Adrian Wilson, a world-leading authority on knee issues. Prof Wilson and the team did Andrew’s planning and found him to be eminently suitable for High Tibial Osteotomy. He underwent surgery and has done really well following his High Tibial Osteotomy.
